The Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation in collaboration with the Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Hospital and the VOOM Foundation during the first week of the fourth bi-annual Medical Mission, have reached an incredible milestone!

Since the start of the surgeries on the 23rd of October 2023, the medical teams have performed fifteen successful Paediatric open heart surgeries. Even more heart-warming is the news that seven children have been discharged, well on their way to living healthy, happy, and normal lives. This rapid recovery and the ability to send these children home so soon, is a testament to the proficiency and care provided by the medical teams involved.
